Research Interests

Lisa studies mixoplankton from a protist community perspective. Her goal is to determine which factors favour mixoplankton in coastal waters and how future pressures like climate change and man-made structures could impact the base of the marine foodweb in these environments. For her research she analyzes long-term time series and develops a primary production subroutine for an aquatic ecosystem model.
